I recognized two books, Toxophilus, by Roger Aschram, 1545. And The Witchery of Archery, 1879, by Maurice Thompson, who, along with his brother, are credited with enlivening interest in archery among white folk in the U.S., members of aboriginal tribal nations already having established their fondness for it.
Worth a look if you’re hankerin’ to peer back into archery’s history.
